At Langstone Cliff Hotel in Devon, we have some incredible staff that have been with us for a number of years.

The hotel would not run as smoothly without our amazing team, and we’d like you to get to know them!

With over 20 years of service under his belt, Gary is our mastermind in the kitchen and knows the hotel as if it were his second home.  Here’s a little bit about Gary and what he loves about working at Langstone Cliff Hotel…

What is your favourite memory from working at the hotel?

My wedding and my daughters wedding!

What makes the hotel Langstone Cliff Hotel so special to you?

The Langstone Cliff Hotel is special as it’s a place where family, friends and guests all mingle. As I mentioned earlier, I was lucky enough to not only get married here myself, but to also see my daughter get married at the hotel adds a whole new dimension of meaning for me.

What is your favourite time of year to spend at the hotel?

Anytime the sun is shining – although it’s not always too fun being in a hot kitchen when you can see the lovely warm weather outside.

When you’re not busy at the hotel, what is your favourite thing to do?

I enjoy walking (as long as there is a pub at the end of the road!), football, movies and music.
