New Year’s resolutions for 2019 from the Langstone Cliff Hotel team

We are more than looking forward to New Year’s Eve – Devon loves a celebration just as much as the rest of the country, and we love to throw a bash for it!

To keep in the festive spirit we’ve gathered some New Year’s resolutions from our team. Keep reading to see what they are…

From our Chef and kitchen team:

“My New Year’s promise is to keep working hard and to make sure that each of our guests has a meal to remember.”

“I want to make the time I am not working count. It can be fast-paced in the kitchen, so my resolution is to not bore my family with work talk when I get home – I hope their resolution is to cook more for me!”

From reception:

Our reception team work very hard greeting guests, so what are their resolutions?

“I would like to make my resolution a simple one – to spend more quality time with my family and friends. It’s easy to get caught up in life and worries – I want to make time for memories!”

“My resolution is to start a new hobby or craft so I can add to my list of skills!”

From front of house:

When they’re not busy serving guests over Christmas in anticipation of one of our New Year breaks, Devon local Jane has thought up two very insightful resolutions.

“I’d love to make by back better, so i want to try and go for a swim when I finish work. I’ve heard it’s great for keeping fit, and I don’t make use of Langstone’s pool enough! I also want to stop eating all the chef’s yummy puddings – though I’m not sure I’ll be able to resist all the Devon clotted cream!

Our New Year’s celebrations are always a lot of fun. In 2018 our New Year’s Eve package is either three or four days full board and can run from any date to any day but must include 31st December.

Full of pantomimes, discos, meals and merriment, what more could you want to see in 2019?
